Pharmacist

Full time Gas Bar Attendant - Aldergrove
Duties:
To provide pump island and sales area product and service to customers in a courteous, efficient manner and within approved programs, policies and procedures.
To perform general housekeeping and maintenance duties.
To complete daily summaries and other paperwork as required.
To supervise junior Staff in the absence of the Gas Bar Supervisor.
To operate the cash register and other equipment as required.
To prepare the daily pump and cash reconciliation reports.
To order, price and display merchandise as required.
To attend and participate in training session, department meetings as directed.
To enforce policy and procedure as directed in the areas of security, fire prevention, safety and accidents.
To perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in convenience store or gas station is required. You must have strong math skills, basic computer skills, enjoy working with the public. Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills, motivation and ability to work in a very busy environment are required. You are well-groomed and willing to take on duties and challenges.
Part Time Feed Store Clerk
Duties:
o To provide excellent customer service to walk-in and telephone customers
o To perform housekeeping duties
o Till operation
o Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
§ Sales experience
§ Grade 12 education
§ Customer service skills
§ Number and detail oriented
§ Mature
§ Excellent communication skills
§ Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
§ Must be available to work weekdays and weekends.
Meat Department Manager
- Marketing, merchandising (displays) and customer relations.
- Meat cutting and other daily tasks.
- Hiring, scheduling, direction and training of personnel.
- Daily operations.
- Purchasing and inventory management, receiving and warehousing.
- Processing time sheets and other paperwork.
- Preparing budgets.
- Advertising.
- Expense and margin control.
- Security.
- Co-ordinating and participating in training session, department meetings.
- Enforcing policy and procedure as directed in the areas of security, fire prevention, safety and accidents.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Grade 12 education is required as is relevant post secondary education or equivalent experience. A minimum of two years’ experience managing a Meat Department is preferred. You must have strong math skills, intermediate computer skills, enjoy working with the public, and be available to work a flexible workweek. Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication and supervisory skills, motivation and ability to work in a very busy environment are required. You are well-groomed and willing to take on duties and challenges.
Student Scholarship Program
Otter Co-op supports employees in attaining their goals of post-secondary eduction, by offering all eligible employees the Co-op Student Scholarship Program.
Eligibility:
- Students must be enrolled in high school and be in Grades 10 to 12.
- Students must be employed by Otter Co-op for a minimum of one year at the time of Grade 12 graduation.
- The employee must maintain a satisfactory job performance rating.
Terms of the Otter Co-op Student Scholarship Program:
- While attending high school, eligible employees will receive an additional premium of $.75 for every hour worked up to $1000.
- The Student Scholarship can be obtained by employees following graduation and upon enrolling in a post-secondary education program.
- Employees who do not attend a post-secondary educational institution immediately after graduating from grade 12 will have one year to apply and enroll in post-secondary education. and still be eligible for the Otter Co-op Student Scholarship Program.
Additional Opportunities:
Employees who have achieved their diploma or degree, followed by 2 consecutive years of full time employment in the Co-operative Retailing System, will be reimbursed 75% of their last years tuition.
Junior Director
To encourage young people to become involved and learn about business practices in the co-operative movement, each year Otter Co-op invites Grade 11 students to apply for a one year term as Junior Director. The successful applicant is paid to participate in meetings of the Board of Directors and to attend Federated Co-operatives training courses.
